Meet at The Lounge

Got together with some camera totin’ friends a couple of weeks ago. We talked about our upcoming exhibitions – original art created by local artists can only beautify your home or office – but realised there just wasn’t that much to discuss. Book the gallery, take some shots, sponsor a bar tab for opening night, job done.

We love old timey cameras!

So we settled in for some pints and witty conversation, all whilst cranking the winders on our film cameras. This drew the attention of two young men who were fascinated by the fact that several of the cameras in use were older than they were! Needless to say, they were keen to try their hands as photographic talent.

Got a few great shots. Just goes to show, that fortune favours the brave. Asking people sometimes, particularly youngsters, for their portrait can result in success!
