One of my passions is film photography. The ritual of loading a camera with film, and the delayed analogue gratification inherent in sending off film to be processed in a fast digital world is my equivalent of slow cooking… I was born 30 years too late!
I love digital photography and am very grateful always for the convenience my D700 and gear provides. Particularly when chasing kids around, trying to keep stuff focused, or shooting something important that will not permit a second try.
Melbourne Silver Mine is a group of analogue photographers keeping the world of film alive and well. http://silvermine.org.au/unsensored12/ Our next show is almost ready to go!
